The brief

Meridian is a made-up brand: a concept by Risendune for a time-zone planner for remote teams. The site had to sell one idea in a few seconds: see where everyone is, and find a time that works.

The approach

The hero is a split-flap departures board, the kind that clatters on a station concourse.

  • Every character is a real flap, turned in CSS 3D and lit as it falls, on a board tilted back under a slow sweep of light.
  • Drag the slider through your day, and every row turns to that moment’s local time and status. The track lights up where most of the team is awake.
  • It knows your own time zone, plays an optional flap clatter, and reads as a plain table to screen readers, which hear the settled text, never the half-turned letters.

Delivered

A one-page launch site with a working meeting planner, light enough for any phone.
