A launch reel for SKARN, the made-up outerwear label from its own identity project: short, loud, and built entirely from the brand’s own shapes, to post on X and to open the brand’s site.
The approach
The reel moves through four beats in 15 seconds.
Chrome and cobalt spheres drift past a long lens as the wordmark whips through the focus.
A macro shot of the jacket’s back: a cloth-simulated ripstop shell, with the mark in reflective print rippling in the wind.
A glass-domed keyring medallion swings into the light, and the mark flickers on inside it like a neon tube.
The end card: the lockup in chrome and cobalt, with one strip of light sweeping across it.
Every frame is path-traced in Blender from scripts, with real glass refraction, cloth simulation, motion blur and depth of field. The mark in each shot is built from the same geometry as the logo files.
Delivered
A 15-second reel in 16:9 for the site, and a 1:1 cut for X.
A loop for the portfolio’s dune field, and stills.
